Tea Towel Landscapes
by Jo Grant
At the moment I am concentrating on making small pieces made with vintage tea towels, sizes no bigger than around 10-12cm in width. These pieces are a homage to the ‘tourist tea towel’ and are mostly cut from tea towels from the 60s and 70s.
I’ll be taking these works to the Craft Victoria Craft Hatch Market on Saturday 13 August, 2011 at ‘1000 Pound Bend’ in Melbourne (Australia) go to Craft Victoria to get more info.
These look beautiful Jo. I particularly like the A aeroplane one.
Beautiful Jo, so intricate and quiet, I love my cockatoo!!

These are lovely Jo. They describe the quiet things you are in interested in and the way you respond to whats around you.

Love the rubber ducky under the ship! This all looks very stylish and warm, just like the artist.
